Why kiln dried matters

Freshly cut wood can be half water. Burn it and your fire spends its heat boiling that water off, so you get smoke, tar in the chimney and blackened glass.

We dry every batch in our own kilns to under 20%, so it lights fast and burns hot and clean.

How much is delivery?

It's free on every order. Logs, kindling, heat logs and firelighters come by courier anywhere in the UK. Bulk bags come on our own van, free within 10 miles of Stourbridge. Further out, call us and we'll give you a price.

Do you deliver to my area?

Courier orders go anywhere in the UK. For bulk bags, put your postcode into the checker above or on the product page and it will tell you straight away.

What does Ready to Burn mean?

It's the certification scheme for wood fuel sold in England. It means the wood is under 20% moisture, so it burns cleaner and makes far less smoke.

Should I buy logs or heat logs?

Logs give you the classic flame and crackle. Heat logs are compressed hardwood that burn hotter and longer with very little ash, which makes them great for keeping a stove going overnight. Plenty of customers use both.

Can I order in bulk or for a business?

Yes. Buy two bulk bags for £200 and we'll add a bag of kindling and a box of firelighters for free. For bigger orders, call 07460 141929 or email eco@fuellodge.co.uk for a price.
